1 CARC is hosting another Laguna onboarding session on Thursday, March 26.

Location: Kravis Lower Court 62, Claremont McKenna College
We are hosting an training session to onboard new PIs, research students, and research support staff to the Laguna cluster! This will be an in-person event hosted at Claremont McKenna College Thursday, March 26, 1:30 – 4:30 PM PST.
The training is open to PIs, students, and staff from all the schools in the Alliance, as well as existing users who would just like a refresher on how to navigate Laguna.
We welcome PIs and staff to join us after the training for a networking session from 4:30 - 5:30 PM PST. Enjoy some drinks and light refreshments on Veteran’s Patio while getting to know other researchers in the Alliance!

- User portal workflow

2:15 – 3:45: Running Jobs
- Tools required
- Job types and submission scripts
- Troubleshooting
15-minute break
- 4:00 – 5:30: Data transfers with Globus
- User support workflow
- Ticketing system
- Testing
